Guarantee Scheme For Bumiputra Retail Business (PROSPER)

Objective
•	To facilitate the implementation of a financing arrangement extended by Perbadanan Usahawan National Berhad (PUNB).
•	To encourage more Bumiputra entrepreneurial involvement in retail business.
•	Parties involved:
	-	PUNB, TPPT, Maybank and CGC with the following arrangement;
	-	Contribution from the borrower	:10%
	-	Seed Capital from PUNB	:30%
	-	Financing from Bank	:60%
	-	Coverage by CGC	:30% - 100%

Eligibility
•	For Bumiputra entrepreneurs
•	Should be involved in retail business, not necessarily under the Franchise Programme

Ineligibility
•	Adverse record either CGC or any Financial Institution - CTOS & FIs
•	Listed under Biro Maklumat Cek (BMC)

Types of Facility
•	Overdraft (OD)
•	Term Loan (TL)
•	Bankers Guarantee

Loan Amount
RM 100,000 to RM 1 million

Repayment Period
•	Overdraft: 7 years
•	Term Loan: 7 years

Interest Rate
•	OD/TL - 4.0% (Conventional Financing) - 7.0% (Islamic Financing)
