	Direct Access Guarantee Scheme (DAGS) Franchise/NEF2

	Objective
	To encourage participation of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the franchising business.

	Eligibility
	•	Borrower/business must be registered as a SME business with net assets/shareholders fund of up to RM1.5 million.
	•	All Malaysian owned and controlled private limited companies, partnerships and sole proprietors.

	Ineligibility
	Any franchisor or franchisee not registered with Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan (KPU).

	Types of Facility
	•	Overdraft (OD)
	•	Term Loan (TL)
	•	Any other credit facilities to be determined from time to time by CGC

	Loan Amount
	Maximum RM1 million

	Repayment Period
	•	Overdraft: 8 years
	•	Term Loan: 8 years

	Interest Rate
	•	TL - 4.0% p.a.
	•	OD - 4.0% p.a.
